Fred and Diane Bruening of Youngstown, NY were among the thousands who attended the dedication of the Flight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pa. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011. “We’ve come here every year since the attacks to pay our respects,” said Diane Bruening.

President George W. Bush, President Clinton and Vice President Biden visited Shanksville, Pa. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 to take part in the unveiling of the Flight 93 National Memorial. The memorial honors the passengers and crew of Flight 93, who gave their lives to stop terrorists from reaching their target on Sept. 11, 2001.

 

President George W. Bush, President Clinton and Vice President Biden walked along the wall of names of victims of Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pa. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 after unveiling the newly dedicated monument. The monument includes a white granite wall inscribed with the names of the 40 victims.

 

After the reading of the names of the victims of Flight 93, Rev. Bruce Liberati walked along the monument in Shanksville, Pa. playing the bagpipes in memory of the victims.

 

Thousands of people gathered in Shanksville, Pa. on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011 for the dedication of the Flight 93 National Memorial. The ceremony honored the 40 victims of Flight 93 who gave their lives to stop terrorists during the 9-11 attacks.

 

Point Park students gathered in Alumni Park on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011 to hold a candle light vigil in memory of the victims of the terrorist attacks 10 years ago.
